Chaos Terminator Lord of Nurgle

This is project i am working on for my brother, its his Christmas present. He had an idea of what he wanted but didn't think he would be able to do it himself so he commissioned me to modify it for him. So with that this post may be a little picture heavy as I am also testing my new camera!

FTW Round Table

The army or the list?
For me at least its generally the list so that way I don't go crazy on just buying things I want rather then things I will actually use. Granted the lists I play are always what I want to play and not necessarily what will always win but that's just part of it. I generally come up with an idea that I want to try out and build my army around it then go buy everything I need.

FTW Round Table

Some of the best tactical advice I can think is never underestimate the power of denial. The ability to deny your opponent any advantage you can will turn the tide more times than not. Deny them that first round of assault extras for example can save you squad members, even how you go about assaulting can deny them some much needed attacks. What ever strength an army has, there is some way to deny it. Find that and use it to your advantage. But remember tactical denial can go both ways.

Terrain WIP part 2

So I've gotten all the walls base coated, painted copper, weathered, and now its on to the detail work. All the craters are dried, and hard coated along with the tree. I've fleshed out the Admec symbol on the floor and just have to finish it off then its on to rubble/debris/grass etc. Its coming out better than I had expected I still cant wait for it to be done so I can focus on something else for a bit.

Terrain WIP, the lastest project in a long line.

So this is one of the many things I have been working on in my absence. The building is obviously from the Cities of Death line. I made the sand bags craters and tree from air dry clay. There is barbed wire running from one side to the other and the tree "grows" through it. You can also see some of my Templar in there; working on adding flames coming from my assault marines jet packs. The whole building is going to have a black base coat, then copper coating, and weathered with a turquoise stippling/wash. I do plan on going back and cleaning up the details like the Admec symbol and gauges and such. Hopefully once I get a better camera (one with at least a marco setting) I will be able to take some better pictures and some of the details.
